exploring teachers’ attitudes and responses to disclosure.
Prior to teaching at Cornerstone she worked at the
Institute for Child and Family Development (UWC) on the
Child Protective Services programme as an Administrator

area of emotional well-being.

local churches and NGO’s.
She also supervises many of the final-year psychology
students in their counselling fieldwork in communities and
schools, which forms such a key part of our programme in
the psychology department.
Another area of interest for Geraldine is that of
“Christians and depression” and she has presented talks on
radio and at conferences on the topic.
Geraldine is married to Mervyn and they are both involved
in their local church as home cell leaders. They have also
been involved in the development and training of youth
